We’re all for people having a go at repairs themselves if they are capable, however we all have limits as this attempted repair shows. Luckily this repair we had in wasn’t past resurrecting.
A customer had taken this Xbox Series X to be repaired and bought it to us still no better off, 1st we stripped the machine to see this:
By the looks of it the pads were damaged but after informing the customer we carried on and removed the socket, cleaned the board up and it wan’t as bad as we first thought:
With all the prep work done we fitted the HDMI correctly, rebuilt the machine and another satisfied customer.
