A customer brought his Xbox One in with overheating issues, as you can see by the pictures all of the ventilation has been blocked by large amounts of dust. This is quite a common problem which if left will reduce the efficiency and running of your console.
With many machines running constantly the internal fan sucks in air for cooling along with dust, smoke, aerosol deodorant and anything else in the general area which after time can cause this problem.
