One of todays repair was a Lenovo idea pad 330s that was brought in by a customer not working, no output, wouldn’t charge and needed some TLC. We have invested a lot of time training up on fault finding and board level repairs and although we can’t fix everything that comes through the door it’s always a boost when we fix a repair like this.

In this case we discovered there was a short (faulty) capacitor that had stopped the whole machine from working after some lengthy fault finding, both components were replaced using hot air micro soldering and once reassembled the machine sprang back into life.

We often fix faults similar to this for a fraction of the cost of a replacement laptop so if you have a dead laptop maybe we can breathe new life into it for you.
