INSTRUCTIONS
How To Set-up
- Simply clip the Car Baby on the ear piece side of any mobile phone or telephone.
- The speaker of the Car Baby should be directly on the ear piece side of the phone.
- Car Baby should be placed within 3 feet of your radio.
- When driving, it is suggested that you use a phone holder for added safety.
How To Operate
- Tune your FM radio to either 88.7 or 106.5.
- Push the silver button on the front of the Car Baby to turn it on. A red light will go on to indicate that your unit is on.
- When you receive a call, simply answer your phone and push your preset radio button to either 88.7 or 106.5.
- To make a call, turn your Car Baby on and tune your radio to the correct radio frequency. Then simply place the call.
- When you are finished using your phone, it is recommended that you turn off your Car Baby. This will greatly increase the life of the battery.
Trouble Shooting
- If you or the person you are calling hear an echo, simply decrease the volume of your radio.
- If you are experiencing a weak transmission signal or poor reception, simply move your Car Baby to another position within 3 feet of your radio. Moving the Car Baby slightly can enhance its performance greatly.
- If the Car Baby light does not come on when the "on" button is pushed, it is most likely the result of a low or "dead" battery.
- To replace the battery, remove the clip in the rear of the Car Baby. Replace the old battery with a 2032 battery cell and restore the clip to its original position.
- The battery has a standby time of 30 days and talk time of approximately 10 hours of constant use. Obviously, switching off after each use will enhance these figures dramatically.
